How to Set Login Pin in Windows 10

Windows Key+i > Accounts > Sign-in options > Under password, remove it. Now, it will ask only PIN login.
If PIN is not already set up, under Sign-in options, set up PIN first before removing password.

If you want to keep both, you can keep both. At the lock screen, Press Sign-in options > Dial pad icon is for PIN and Key is for Password. press Dial pad to login with PIN

Follow these steps to set up a PIN on your Windows User Account:

1. Press the Windows +S key combination to display the Search box.
2. Type the word pin into the Search box, then click Set up PIN sign-in.
3. Find the "PIN" section and click the Add button.
4. Type in the password for your User Account, then click the Ok button.
5. Select and enter a 4 digit numeric pin, then enter it again for confirmation.
6. Exit the PIN setup utility.

From now on you'll be able to log in to your Windows account by entering your 4 digit PIN instead of your password.

You can change your PIN at any time by following the steps below:

1. Press the Windows +S key combination to display the Search box.
2. Type the word pin into the Search box, then click Set up PIN sign-in.
3. Find the "PIN" section and click the Change button.
4. Enter your Windows password, then click the Ok button.
5. Select and enter a new 4 digit numeric pin, then enter it again for confirmation.
6. Click the Finish button.
7.Exit the PIN setup utility.

The PIN section does not have an Add button, only Change and Remove. How do I change from password to pin?

The PIN is automatically active when it is set.  On your login screen there are buttons under your password box.  You click on those buttons to switch login between PIN and Password.  Both remain active once the PIN is set.  It sounds like you have your PIN set already.  It is just a matter of changing the log in option on the Login screen.
